This book mainly deals with Diffusion MRI in focal lesions of breast and spine. Initially there is a general brief discussion about principle of diffusion MRI. Rest of the book is written in two parts. Part 1 gives information regarding utility of diffusion MRI in evaluation of breast lesions. The lesions are first characterized by routine MRI after which diffusion sequence is performed and the sensitivity and specificity of ADC values is calculated. These ADC values are then applied to determine the nature of the lesion.Part 2 of the book deals with utility of Diffusion MRI in evaluation of vertebral body pathology. Routine MRI is first performed followed by Diffusion MRI. ADC values are calculated form the involved vertebral bodies. The ADC values are then utilized to determine the etiology of the abnormality.
