This Thesis is dealing with knowledge about HIV/AIDS, attitude and risky sexual behavior of female students at University of Botswana.Presumption is that as female students progress academically their knowledge of HIV/AIDS is increasing leading to reduction of risky sexual behavior. This may not be correct since there are various socio-economic,cultural, religious reasons why this particular group gets involved into risky sexual behavior despite being well educated on risks of HIV transmittion. Authors are looking into various factors that may influence that decision and concluded that this particular cohort get engaged in risky sexual behavior despite being well educated and may act as a vehicle for HIV transmission.
