MotionProcessing technology combines an inertial measurement unit with digital processing and motion-based applications, enabling consumer devices to readily incorporate motion while still meeting critical cost, size, robustness, and battery life requirements. By attaching motion sensors, such as a three-axis gyroscope and a three-axis accelerometer, the consumer electronic device´s movement can be accurately tracked.
