The findings obtained in the present study further support to the existing recommendations that walnuts can help lower blood pressure and lipid profile within few weeks among hypertensive adults who included walnuts in their diets. It also effect in obese on lipid profile and BMI. The constructive influence of walnut on human health suggests that walnut rich diet may have advantageous effects beyond changes in plasma lipid level. our findings have important public health implications for the management and prevention of obesity & hypertension. To see long term effect of walnut consumption and the extension of this study to other people groups rationalize further study.
